Righteous Thinking Pt. 2

I don’t care what they’re a part of. I’ve been around the block too many times to tell you that half of them is not going to be there in five years, and 75% of them is not going to be there in 10 years. Rather, you judge mental, you wait and see. You wait and see what happens. In five years, you wait and see what happens. In 10 years, they’re not going to be around. I’ve been around long enough to tell you exactly what’s going to happen. No, no, you’re just being judgmental. They said that to me five years ago, when I warned some people, now they want to throw prophet at my name, but then back then they throw it through idiot at my name was I being a prophet? No, I just could tell you based on what the Bible saying. You don’t need to be a prophet to know what the Bible saying. You just need to have a humble heart and open the thing and read it. You understand what am I saying? Unless you get your your lens fixed with the righteousness which comes through the blood of Jesus. Your life is going to be run by the opinion of man, not by the word of God. Doesn’t matter how much you jump into the Word. Doesn’t matter how much you read, it doesn’t matter how much you say you love it. It don’t matter how much you say it’s important doesn’t matter. How much you say this is the word of God? And doesn’t matter what it and you just say, well, I don’t care what anybody else thinks, but that’s all great stuff to say, and it’s all true. But unless you get your identity fixed in knowing your righteousness by the blood of Christ, you’re going to have your life run by men’s opinion. Because you’re going to try and find approval by man’s opinion. People’s like I struggle with this well. 90% of the church struggle with it. And we’ve spoken on this on and off, but it’s just, you know. It’s one of those things that has to be solidified in a person’s faith. Otherwise, when it comes to spiritual matters, you know, you’ll go around the block all the time. You’ll keep going around the block all the time. You know you’ll keep getting back there all the time. Let’s go to 2nd Corinthians. I’m not going to go a whole lot longer, but let’s go to 2nd Corinthians chapter 10. I don’t like it when you preach on money and you know, push the money thing. Well, it explains a few things to me. See, when we start getting a sense of false humility, and we believe and we don’t understand that true humility sometimes look like arrogance to some people. If we don’t get the concept that really that people’s opinions doesn’t really change anything. I’m serious if we don’t understand that people’s opinions doesn’t change anything. Then what are we really run by? And if my faith, if my trust is based on people’s opinions. If my trust is based on people’s opinions then is it really based on the faithfulness of God? And if I can’t have the confidence and the boldness to say to somebody I really don’t care what you think, which I do. And sometimes my wife is like, can you keep your big mouth shut? It only works on certain occasions. If I can’t say that with boldness and with confidence then I’m a hypocrite. Rather, but this is not how the culture works up here. I mean, I have news for you, the power of God doesn’t work with your culture. The power of God does not work with. I don’t care what culture you come from the power of God works with his culture. It’s called the Kingdom culture. It’s not like I’ve been around in many cultures and not one of them was a proponent of the power of God. I’ve been in more cultures than probably all of you together. Yeah, I’ve experienced more cultures than all of you together and not one of those cultures are a proponent of the power of God, and neither is the culture that you stuck in. That’s true. The only thing that is a proponent to the power of God is a Kingdom culture, a God culture. OK, let’s go. 2nd Corinthians chapter 10. Brother, you hurt people’s feelings. I don’t know what they going to do when Jesus arrives so. 2nd Corinthians 10 now I Paul urge you by the gentleness and graciousness of Christ I, who am a weak sorry I who am meek, meek and weak, is not the same thing. I’m going to say it again. Meek and weak is not the same thing. You can flip that M upside down all you want. It’s still not the same thing. I who am meek. In brackets, so they say. Now this is Paul speaking. When I’m with you face to face, but bold, unspoken, and feel as to you at you when absent. I ask. Now the context of that is not because he was weak in stature, it was. How do I know that? Because first Corinthians, chapter one and two says that I did not come to you with the eloquence of man’s speech, but in a demonstration of the spirit and of power. So you couldn’t have been weak in stature. The context here is. In that specific incident, is what he’s referring to. There’s two. I ask that when I do come, I will not be driven to the boldness that I intend to show to those few who regard us as if we walked according to the flesh, like men without the spirit. Verse 3 For though, we walk in the flesh as mortal men, we are not carrying on our spiritual warfare according to the flesh and using the weapons of man. You thought I was going to take you into a spiritual warfare session. Deliverance ministry. I’m going to deliver you from the righteousness of a man. Verse 5 casting down say imaginations. Look at me when your lens is contaminated by a post stuck in your eye. You won’t see things as they really are. Never mind seeing them as God sees them. If you don’t have the blood of Christ stuck in your eye as opposed to a post or a beam. You will always see everything through a contaminated lens. Now, for those of you that haven’t been around or haven’t heard me for that long. I’m not into fluffy bunny love and all that kind of stuff. I’m not a tree hugger. I’m not one of those that doesn’t believe in judgment. I believe in judgment. I’m not one of those that doesn’t believe in correction, I believe in correction. All right. Of course, in the right context, but I’m not a tree hugger. I’m not a Bunny hugger. So when I say when I speak about, I’m just wanting to say this because when I speak about judgement. I’m not talking about not judging certain situations and circumstances, I’m talking about the lens that you see things through right, let’s go. Then he says, casting down imaginations. I want to read it to you from the amplified Bible, because this is so good, we are destroying sophisticated argument and every exalted and proud thing that sets it up itself up against the true knowledge of God and we are taking every thought and purpose captive to the obedience of Christ is what the amplified says. So how do we take every thought captive by exchanging it for the truth of God. I’ve seen people go around struggling with I cast that sword down. I cast that sword down. You’re going to wear yourself out. Shut up. The only way you’re going to cast it down is by is by putting something else in there that can replace that stupid thing. You understand you can pull it out all you want. You’re going to get seven other bad ones coming back, running your life. You can fight your thoughts all you want, but unless you get it exchanged by something that’s worth something, you will never go anywhere with it. Right, let’s go. So what is the thought you’re talking about? God consciousness. What is that the righteousness that he has given you freely because of the fact that you’ve accepted him as Lord and Savior? Do you look on things after the outward appearance? If any man trusts? To himself that he is Christ leading of himself. Think this again. That as he is, Christ, Even so are we. Christ, nominally the seven to you out of the amplified you are looking say looking. Remember how we started off in? Hebrews chapter 12 in verse 2 looking away. From all that will distract by looking. Unto Jesus. So all of it has to do to where you are looking. You are looking at the outward appearance of things. If anyone is confident that he is Christ, he should reflect and consider this that just as he is Christ. Verse 8 for even though I boast rather freely about the authority of the Lord gave us for building you up and not for destroying you, I will not be ashamed of the truth. Nor do I want to seem to be trying to frighten you with my letters, for they say his letters are weighty and forceful and impressive. But his personal presence is unimpressive, and his speech. Contemptible and of no account. Was 11. Let such a one think. This that, such as we are in Word by letters when we are absent, such will we be also indeed, when we are present. So what is he? Saying he’s saying whatever I’m saying to you is who I am. Whatever I’m saying to you is who I am. Whatever I am saying to you about me is who I am as a man thinks in his heart. The Book of Proverbs says so is he. Now the one thing the number one thing why people struggle with stuff now, I’m not going to go into it now, but we preach this stuff all the time. The number one reason why people struggle with righteousness is because they don’t understand that sin has been dealt with. Now of course, there’s a condition to that, and that condition is you need to receive him as Lord and Savior. You understand there’s a condition to it. It’s not unconditional. OK, it’s not Christian socialism. It’s not unconditional, it’s conditional. But that forgiveness is granted you. So when people walk around with the sin consciousness all the time, being aware of everything that that everybody has done wrong, the only reflection of that, that that really is, is a reflection of what’s going on the inside. He did that. She did that. He did that. She they did this. They did that. They did this. They did that well it’s a reflection of whether I’m forgiven or not, or whether I think I’m forgiven, I mean, whether I believe I’m forgiven or not. So if I believe I’m forgiven, why am I going to be sitting. Trying to figure out what your every move all the time. That’s why most people don’t hear the voice of God. Clearly, because they’re so busy trying to figure out whether everything everybody’s doing is wrong or right, so that by the time God does speak to them, to go and speak to somebody, to redirect their lives, they don’t even hear it because they’re still busy trying to figure out right from wrong. You understand? Instead of just spending 20 minutes with that person trying to redirect their lives into a good direction, all they’re doing is. Right from wrong, right from wrong, right from wrong. You guess who struggled with that stuff? Adam and Eve because when the serpent came to them in the garden, this is what he said. If you eat of this tree, I will give you the ability to discern between good and evil. And all we do is good and bad, good or bad, good or bad, good or bad, and we become double minded like a wave of the sea, just like Jude. Forgive me, James Chapter 1 says Because we continually trying to figure out good or bad, good or bad, good or bad, are they good? Are they a sick, are they not a sick? Is it the Holy Ghost is just not the Holy Ghost is what they preaching true? Is it? What is not preaching? Is it true? Is my friend, you know, rejecting me or is they are they like with me or you know? And I’m like in this battle all the time. The reason you’re in a battle is because you’re exactly where Adam and Eve was when the serpent came to them and said if you eat of this, you’ll be able to descend between good and evil. Stop trying to discern between good and evil. That’s not your job. That’s God’s job. Your job is to hear his voice. Your job is to work with him. Your job is to change people’s lives. Your job is to have a relationship with him. Let me put it like this. At least try and help more people than most people sitting here and most of you. And the number one reason why people can’t receive help is because they are freaking out. They might not say it, and they might not show it but it’s like I don’t know this is right, this is right this is right, this is right, is it? Calm down. Just calm down. Just take a breath. Just breathe for a second, all right, so why do people do that? Because they don’t know who they are. They don’t fully trust in the in the work, the finished work of the cross. And they flip, flop between this and that, this and that all the time. I have news for you. If you’re standing on this side, I’m just using or if you’re standing on your side of the fence, you might see things one way, but if you stay on stand on God’s side of the fence, God has a perfect sense of forgetfulness. He’s perfectly and woefully practicing and exercising the act of forgetfulness. Ready to forgive? Ready to acquit whatever guilt you have been sitting with and you sitting on this side trying to figure out what else you’ve done wrong that you couldn’t even remember anymore? It’s true though. Think about it for a second. Trying to figure out how guilty I am and even remember trying to remember the things that I couldn’t even remember. While he’s like, he doesn’t even remember it. He’s just ready to say I forgive you and you like freaking out. You know, you think God is going to have Jesus go to the cross. To atone for your sin. To then still remember it for the next 50 years, even after you’ve asked him forgiveness. You think God is a fool? The number one reason why people never get free from stuff I’m not just talking about mental stuff. I’m talking about health. I’m talking about anything. The number one reason why people don’t get healed. Is a sense of unforgiveness. Jesus healed more people throughout his 3 1/2 year ministry by saying to them I forgive you take up your bed and walk. Then he did by saying be healed. It’s true. The scriptural fact he healed more people by looking at them, saying I forgive you your sin then telling them you are healed take up your bed and walk. You understand? So am I. Is this the license you said? No. This is your license to be free from this stuff. This is your license to not get stuck in it. This is your license to get out of it. The number one reason why people can’t get rid of bad habits is by trying. If trying could help you then you probably would have been free. But if you’re not free after 20 years, maybe you try something different. Well, that’s going to leave me right where I am, no. What you need is another lens. It’s by a different lens that people are set free from bad habits. Nothing else, different lengths and you’ll be free like this. Yeah, but is it really that simple? Well, the gospel sounds pretty simple to me. I don’t know why he would have to go to a cross to die for all my issues. And then I have to you know then I still have to sort them out. That sounds like very bad mathematics to me.
